St John’s church opens for public worship
Following the recent announcement that places of worship can re-open St John’s Parochial Church Council (PCC) has met and passed the necessary resolution for public worship to begin again in the building.
Full details of how this move back into church will begin are available here. For the coming weeks we will be holding a simple service of Communion at 9.00am in additional to doing church online.
See below how you can join us in prayer and worship online.

Revd Jonathan Hillman writes…
I, like you, have many questions and very few answers as the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to escalate. It is very hard not to feel fearful of all that may be. Many have expressed deep anxiety as life has been forced to change; self-isolation driving us further into loneliness, the possibility that we may have already said a final farewell to loved ones, the economy on the brink of a meltdown, empty shelves replacing abundance of choice and now it feels as if Church has shut up shop and gone home…
St John’s is once again open for public worship
We warmly invite you to join us as we gather together in worship. Our pattern of worship for the coming weeks is as follows:
9.00am – Communion (St John’s Church)
10.00am – Church Online (YouTube)
11.00am – Zoom Coffee
We have now set up a YouTube channel, which you can access below, which will allow you to share in all our worship.
Our Sunday service will be available from 10am every Sunday until such a time we are able to worship again from our church building.
If you do not see the most recent services below please refresh your browser as this will normally resolve the issue.
