We are sorry to say that following the latest government’s announcement we have had to close our church buildings.

Please see below for full details as to how you can join us in prayer and worship until such a time our buildings reopen.

If you have planned a service with us please contact us for further details of what this means for you.

Holding everyone in our prayers.

The Rector’s letter…

Revd Jonathan Hillman writes…

I, like you, have many questions and very few answers as the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to escalate. It is very hard not to feel fearful of all that may be. Many have expressed deep anxiety as life has been forced to change; self-isolation driving us further into loneliness, the possibility that we may have already said a final farewell to loved ones, the economy on the brink of a meltdown, empty shelves replacing abundance of choice and now it feels as if Church has shut up shop and gone home…

With all acts of public worship now suspended until further notice the way we now do things is different. We will be Live Streaming a service every Sunday morning and providing resources and links to other material to help us engage and stay connected with the word of God.

Live Streaming

We are using Microsoft Teams to Live Stream and have made the event open to all. If you already have MS Teams on your device (laptop, pc, tablet, phone) then hopefully just by clicking the link the event will open on your device.

For those who don’t have MS Teams please don’t worry. We have intentionally made the event public which means that anyone with the link is able to watch the Live Stream. All you have to do, once clicking the link, is look for where is says ‘Watch on the web instead’ and clicking this should open the Live Stream up on your device.

We will begin the Live Streaming 30mins before the service begins to allow us all good time to sign in!

No event found!

As much of this is new to us we thank you for your patience in the early days as we learn and adjust to our new way of being.

Join us throughout Holy Week for a quiet service of Compline at 8.30pm (or as soon as the video is ready!) The video of the service will be available below for us all to participate together

We have now set up a YouTube channel where we will be posting all our streamed services when available!

It’s not always a slick production but we can say it is real!!
