Welcome

The Church of St John the Baptist in Windlesham forms part of the Guildford Diocese of the Church of England.
We are a broad and friendly church family spanning all ages, with traditional, family and alternative types of service to suit all styles of worship.
Everyone who comes through the doors at St John’s is welcomed as part of the church family. We encourage all to become involved in and contribute to our corporate church life. Friendly chat, Welcome Packs and Welcome Suppers hopefully help newcomers to feel quickly at home. Our Church is typically open during the day for quiet and for prayer. Access is via the South porch (white studded door).
DC4B - Dragon Boating
Wednesday, 02 June 2010 19:48
The Dangerous Club for Boys Dragon Boat outing in May was great fun and very wet. Having been split between two dragon boats, we took to the water and the heavens opens. There was a healthy rivalry between the two boats and we sang and paddled our hearts out as we raced up and down the Thames. Thanks to the instructors at Longridge who looked after us for the afternoon.
Easter dawn service
Sunday, 04 April 2010 11:38

Well done to the brave souls who gathered on the common to great the Easter morning sunrise and proclaim the Resurrection. It may have been a little damp and "bracing" but the short service was as successful as ever and a fantastic way to celebrate Easter.

2010 Green - Easter Funday
Monday, 29 March 2010 08:54
Green, our Easter funday, was huge fun with 49 kids, music, craft, games, Pierre, green goo and the amazing Easter message woven through it all. Our day ended with 100 fundayers and families sitting down to a meal together.
Look out for news of this year's Global Gang!
DC4B - Royal Logistic Corps
Sunday, 07 March 2010 20:38
Huge thanks go to Andy Robertshaw at the Royal Logistic Corps Museum for hosting a fantastic visit for DC4B. As well as showing all 40 of us the museum, he gave us a great talk all about army rations through the ages and we got to cook our own food out in the grounds.

Thanks for helping
Sunday, 21 February 2010 22:17
Huge thanks to everyone who helped with the redecoration project at Chertsey Road Hall over half term. We were blessed with many helpers on the decorating and childcare teams - which was heartening following on from the 'Many Hands' service, and the end result is the Hall looks absolutely fantastic!
