Welcome

Since it was built St John’s, which forms part of the Guildford Diocese of the Church of England, has been the focus for sharing the love of God and reaching out to the local community through Christian worship, fellowship and service.

Through the years we have learnt to adapt to the changes in society and culture, so how we do things may have changed but we remain committed to those same core values. These are expressed in and through our Sunday Worship, Small Groups, Service and Stewardship which we encourage all members to become involved in and contribute to.

Everyone who comes through the doors at St John’s is warmly welcomed and soon made to feel part of the church family. We pray that as you share with us you will experience the love of God in your life too.

Our Church is typically open during the day for private prayer so if you fancy some peace and quiet why not pop in some time soon. Access is via the South porch (white studded door).

With every blessing

Appointment of a New Rector

Great news – we’re delighted to announce that our new Rector has been appointed and will join us in June.

Reverend Jonathan Hillman is currently the Team Vicar to the Parish of Cove and has been there for six years.  Jonathan, his wife, Kate and their four boys - Josh, Benjamin, Joe and Sam - are all very excited about their move to Windlesham and becoming part of our Church family.

The date for the “institution” of Jonathan as Rector is Wednesday 9th June 2010 at 8pm and there will be more details about this nearer the time.
