Our Churchyard Garden

A team of dedicated volunteers undertake a variety of tasks during the year which enable this area to be kept tidy, presentable, and reflective of our care for God’s created environment.

We need a few more helping green-fingered hands to look after the front borders, mow the lawns and sweep up leaves during the autumn leaf fall season.  All of these can be done when it suits a volunteer and involve a limited time commitment.  If you are able to help, please speak to Ian Baker (01276 476708).

Thanks for helping with the cleaning

Thank you to all the people who gave up their time to help with this year’s church spring clean on 1st April.  Many hands really did make light work and the church was gleaming by the end of the morning.  Thanks also to Helen Bateman for providing lovely refreshments for us all.

Annual Church Spring Clean - volunteers needed for Friday 1 April 2011

We have a great team of volunteers who keep our church looking lovely and clean on a regular basis.  Once a year we give this group a well earned rest and give the church a deep clean.

Are you able to spare a couple of hours to help with this year’s church spring clean?  We would be grateful for any help on Friday 1st April between 9.15 am and 12 noon. Some of the work is quite physical and so any male volunteers will be very welcome! We will provide tea/coffee and pastries.

Tablecloths Needed

Beautiful new round tables have been purchased for the Hall but we now need ten tablecloths to cover them.  Can anybody sew?  Would you be willing to make some new covers, as the old ones no longer fit.  If you can help, please contact Helen Bateman on 01276 474261.
